IN LOVING MEMORY

Dora Trinidad Chivichon

June 13, 1954- January 29, 2025

Dora Trinidad Chivichon, 70, died beside friends and family in Somerset, NJ on Wednesday, January 29th. She was born to Martin Chivichon and Margarita Concepcion Reyes in 1954.

Dora spent her youth in Guatemala, where she met and married Mario Franco and began starting her own family. While she lived in Guatemala, she had two daughters and one son. In the 80s, she moved to the United States, where she continued to nurture her family. Her daughter Kayley married and gave birth to four of Dora’s grandchildren. She spent most of her time living with them and helping to raise them.

Those who knew Dora loved her and remembered her for her selflessness, her compassion, and her bright smile. In her free time, she sewed and cooked. Even her hobbies reflected what a selfless woman she was, as she used these skills to give to others, often sewing clothes for her loved ones and making meals with love and passion.

She often told others to play 70’s groups when she passed, such as The Beach Boys and Electric Light Orchestra, as this was the music she wanted others to listen to and remember her by. She was loved unconditionally and will be missed beyond words.

She is survived by her children, Kayley Barge, Paul Oliva, Adis Molina, and her grandchildren, Ashley Barge, Jordan Barge, Abriel Barge, Jaden Barge, Alex Molina, Micheal Oliva, Joseph Oliva, and Sofia Oliva.
